Privacy Policy - the basics
Duncombe Development Group ("DDG," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through our client engagements, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
What We Collect
-
Contact details you submit through our website, such as your name, email, organization, and phone number.
-
Information shared with us during a coaching, training, or consulting engagement, including assessment results and organizational information.
-
Basic website usage data collected automatically, such as pages viewed and browser type.
How We Use It
We use your information to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and administer our services, issue invoices, and communicate with you about your engagement. With your separate written consent, we may also feature a testimonial from you in our marketing.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
DDG does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share client data outside the specific engagement it relates to, except where required by law, where you have given written consent, or where a service provider is bound by a written confidentiality agreement to protect your data to the same standard we do.
How We Use Artificial Intelligence
We use AI tools to support drafting and research work that does not involve your identifiable information. In some engagements, we also use AI tools, under a business agreement that excludes our data from being used to train those tools, to help build case studies or training exercises from real engagement content. We only do this with your specific prior written consent, we default to pseudonyms rather than real names unless you tell us otherwise, and you will have the chance to review and request changes before anything is used.
Your Rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, object to its use for direct marketing, or request that it be deleted, subject to our legitimate record keeping obligations. This policy is administered consistent with the Bahamas Data Protection (Privacy of Personal Information) Act, 2003, and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation and other relevant privacy laws.

Terms of use
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
Our Services
DDG provides executive coaching, leadership and organizational development training, and HR consulting services. All engagements are governed by a signed proposal or engagement letter, the terms of which control over these general Terms of Use in the event of any conflict.
Payment Terms
Unless a proposal states otherwise, a deposit of fifty percent of the total fee is due upon signature, with the remaining fifty percent due within five days following delivery of the final session or deliverable.
Digital Deliverables
Workbooks, toolkits, and other digital materials are delivered upon completion of the applicable milestone. Because these materials are licensed rather than sold outright, delivered digital items are final, except where a deliverable is materially defective, in which case we will correct it.
How We Use Artificial Intelligence
DDG may use artificial intelligence tools, operated under business-tier terms that contractually exclude your data from being used to train those tools, to help develop assessments, reports, analytical work, and frameworks in the course of an engagement. Every AI-assisted deliverable is reviewed and finalized by our Principal before it reaches you, and DDG remains fully responsible for the professional quality of everything we deliver, regardless of the tools used to prepare it.
No Guarantee of Results
We bring our full expertise and proprietary frameworks to every engagement, but we do not guarantee specific business, employment, or organizational outcomes, since results depend in part on factors outside our control, including how our recommendations are implemented. We make no warranty, express or implied, that any deliverable, AI-assisted or otherwise, will achieve a particular result.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DDG's total liability arising from any engagement, whether relating to AI-assisted work or otherwise, will not exceed the total fees paid for that engagement, and DDG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, business opportunity, goodwill, or data. This limitation does not apply where the law does not permit liability to be limited, including for DDG's own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Acceptable Use
You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful code, to impersonate DDG, or to copy, scrape, or extract site content for a competing product or for training an artificial intelligence system, as described further in our Intellectual Property Notice.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and any dispute will first be addressed through good faith negotiation and mediation in Nassau before any litigation is filed.
Intellectual Property Notice
All content on this website, and all DDG training materials and proprietary frameworks, including C.H.E.R.I.™, C.R.A.F.T.™, LEADS™, PACE™, GROW™, the 5C Coaching Conversation Model™, R.A.C.E.™, D.R.I.V.E., the D.R.I.V.E. Delegation Ladder™, the C.A.R.E.™ Framework, the IMPACT™ Assessment, the 3M Development Framework™, and O.R.B.I.T.™, are the exclusive intellectual property of Duncombe Development Group.
Licensed Use
Where DDG frameworks and materials are shared with a client, they are provided under a limited, non-exclusive, internal use license for that client's own organization only. They may not be reproduced, resold, or shared with any third party.
No Scraping or AI Training on Our Content
Automated extraction of this site's content, including through bots, crawlers, or scraping tools, is prohibited, as is the use of our content or publications to train, fine tune, or build any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, without our express prior written authorization. DDG actively monitors for and will pursue unauthorized use of its content and frameworks by competitors or other third parties.
Reporting Misuse
If you believe DDG content has been used without authorization, or that your own content has been used by DDG improperly, contact us at www.duncombedevelopmentgroup.com.
Testimonials and Marketing Notice
DDG only publishes a client or participant testimonial after obtaining specific written consent identifying the exact statement to be used and the context in which it will appear. Testimonials reflect the honest, actual experience of the person quoted and are not edited in a way that changes their meaning.
Where a case study or training scenario is developed from a real engagement, we obtain separate written authorization covering whether real names, pseudonyms, or full anonymization will be used, and, where the material may be used outside that client's own organization, a further marketing consent as described above.
If you have provided a testimonial or case study content and wish to withdraw your consent, contact us at www.duncombedevelopmentgroup.com and we will remove it within thirty days.
